679 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded, within 24 hours, after 41,443 corona examinations were performed, as the rate of positive examinations was 1.7%, according to data published by the Israeli Ministry of Health today, Wednesday.
There are 14,403 Corona patients currently active, of whom 762 are hospitalized. The number of severe cases has decreased to 500, including 207 patients who are undergoing artificial respiration.
The death toll has reached 6,131 since the start of the pandemic.
The Israeli Ministry of Health said: "5,191,761 Israelis received the first dose of the Corona vaccine, and 4,608,229 Israelis received the second dose."
