Israeli approval to build 1936 settlement units in the West Bank

The so-called Israeli Supreme Council for Planning and Building in the West Bank, after two days of successive meetings, approved plans to build 1936 settlement units across the West Bank.

According to the site of the seventh Hebrew channel, 258 units will be built in the settlement of "Halamish", 180 in the settlement of "Mitzpe Danny", 147 in the settlement of "Mitzpe Jericho", 107 in the settlement of "Alon Moreh", and 100 in the settlement of "Neve Tzof".

The Israeli left-wing Peace Now movement has expressed its anger at the plan, saying it is an unnecessary construction, accusing Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, of sabotaging peace prospects and attracting Israel to the reality of apartheid.
