The Planning and Construction Committee of the Jerusalem Municipality, managed by the Israeli occupation, has decided, in coordination with the Israeli Land Authority, to construct 20,000 settlement units in all areas of the city of Jerusalem.
According to the second Hebrew channel, the agreement also took place between the two sides to invest 1.4 billion shekels in projects aimed at developing infrastructure and building hotels and commercial and industrial zones in various parts of the city.
The mayor of Jerusalem´s ultra-Yemeni Likud, Nir Barakat, commented on the agreement as "historic", and important for the city of Jerusalem and its future.
