A high-ranking Japanese delegation, led by Japanese Ambassador to Palestine Takoshi Okobo and Mitsui Yoko, director of Jayka and their entourage, paid a visit to Gaza´s industrial city, which is one of the most important investments of the Padico holding group.
The visiting delegation was greeted by Eng. Saeed Doikat, head of the development department and director of Industrial districts of Padico holding, and wood. Ali Shaath, chief executive officer of the Industrial Cities Authority, as well as a number of employees of the company.
Dwekat welcomed the visiting delegation and gave a comprehensive overview of the industrial zone by which it clarified its position and importance in terms of job creation in the prevailing economic situation in the region as well as the services it provided.
Some of the problems and obstacles facing the industrial zone, such as the inability to export abroad and the lack of access to certain materials for the production process of some factories located inside Gaza City, were reviewed.
Dwaikat took the visiting delegation to a field tour within the industrial zone, during which he visited the Hanover dairy industry and its derivatives factory, the SKYSSK Plastic industries factory and the Saryu Wadiya Food Industries factory.
At the end of his visit, the Japanese delegation expressed its pleasure at the field visit, the valuable information provided to him and the high level of the industrial zone, and in turn thanked the company´s management for its effort in the management and development of the industrial zone.
He also promised the investors and the developer that the Gaza industrial zone would be prioritized in order to facilitate investors and benefit from Japanese expertise in the transfer of expertise, upgrading and development of the industrial zone.
