Unidentified masked men assassinated this morning, Tuesday, Dr. Muhammad Hussein Alwan, an Iraqi journalist and faculty member at Al-Mustansiriya University, in front of his house in eastern Baghdad.
Witnesses said that unidentified masked men opened fire towards Dr. Muhammad Hussein Alwan in front of his house in Al-Bunwak neighborhood, east of Baghdad, and they were killed instantly and fled.
Alwan is a professor at the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad and is a member of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and a former TV presenter.
