Three civilians were injured with rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens of people suffocated, today, Friday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces´ suppression of the march in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
The occupying forces fired live and metal bullets, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas heavily at the marchers, wounding three of them with metal bullets, and dozens of them suffocated.
The march was organized this week on the occasion of the Palestinian Prisoner´s Day, and was called by the Popular Committee for the Defense of the Lands Threatened by Seizure, and the National Action Factions, and set out from in front of the village mosque towards the lands threatened by settlement in the east of the village, where confrontations broke out with the occupation forces.
And in Kafr Qaddum, a young man was hit with a "sponge" bullet, and others suffocated, today, Friday, after the Israeli occupation forces suppressed the weekly, peaceful, anti-settlement march of Kafr Qaddum, calling for the opening of the village street, which has been closed for 17 years.
The official news agency reported that clashes erupted between the villagers and the occupation forces, which fired live bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, which resulted in the injury of a 25-year-old youth with a "sponge" bullet in the back, and dozens of people suffocated. They were treated in the field.
