Injuries as a result of an attack by settlers on citizens in Masafer Yatta

Today, Saturday, a number of citizens sustained injuries and bruises, as a result of settlers’ attacks on several areas in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Local sources said that settlers beat citizens and shepherds in the "Sidt Al-Thala" area, and one of them tried to trample a herd of sheep belonging to a citizen of the Makhamra family.

She added: The young men confronted the settlers and expelled them from the area, before the occupation forces intervened to protect the settlers, and closed the area to the citizens.

She pointed out that settlers attacked and beat a number of citizens in the "Al-Tuwana" area, which resulted in bruises to a number of them. Among them was Mufdi Ahmed Rabei (55 years old), who was transferred to the hospital.

In the same context, the occupation forces stormed the villages of Al-Tuwana and Al-Mufaqra, and abused the citizens, and proceeded to search their homes and tamper with their contents.
