The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Monday, that two deaths, and 1,561 new cases of Coronavirus, have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
The ministry stated in its daily report that the central laboratory examined 4,462 new samples during the same period.
She added that 260 new recoveries from the virus have been recorded.
This brings the total number of people infected with the virus in the Gaza Strip since last March to 71,996, including 13033 active cases, 58,331 recoveries and 632 deaths.
The ministry indicated that the total number of cases requiring medical care within the hospital amounted to 260 cases, of which 186 were in serious and critical condition.
It indicated that the total doses reached the Gaza Strip 81,600 doses, while the total number of people who received the vaccine reached 25,382.
