The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Monday, that 10 deaths, 2,634 new cases of corona and 1242 recoveries have been recorded in the West Bank and Gaza during the last 24 hours.
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 88.9%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.0%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 50, Jenin 240, Tubas 39, the suburbs of Jerusalem 39, Tulkarm 89, Hebron 228, Salfit 25, Nablus 192, Bethlehem 41, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 123, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 7” 1561, Gaza Strip.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Qalqilya 57, Jenin 106, Tubas 19, the suburbs of Jerusalem 8, Tulkarm 52, Hebron 102, Salfit 40, Nablus 265, Bethlehem 125, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 195, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 13”, Gaza Strip 260.
Eight deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Jenin 1, Tulkarm 1, Hebron 3, Nablus 3”, and two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 199 patients in intensive care rooms, including 58 patients on artificial respirators, while 608 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
Al-Keela stated that the citizens who received anti-corona virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 100,552, including 11,328 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
