The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed that the occupying country, with its successive governments, is continuing to impose its settlement control over the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
The ministry added in a statement today, Thursday, that the occupation is working to enable and consolidate the foundations of the Israeli apartheid system throughout occupied Palestine, in a way that permanently closes the door to any opportunity to embody an independent Palestinian state, geographically connected, and viable, with its capital, East Jerusalem. In a manner that turns any conversations, positions or visions related to peace on the basis of the two-state solution into a mirage and unrealistic dreams that are difficult to achieve, and makes them like media consumption and a disregard for the dignity of the Palestinians.
The Foreign Ministry held the occupying government fully and directly responsible for these violations and crimes, as a grave breach of international law, international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, deepening the coup against the signed agreements, and disregarding international legitimacy and its resolutions.
