A Google official disclosed on Tuesday the company´s interest in folding phone technology and has already tested a range of screens.
"We´ve certainly tested the technology, we´ve been doing it for a while," said Mario Queiroz, who is in charge of the development of Google´s pixel phones. "But I do not think we´re close to using it yet."
Queiroz also explained that multiple tests on collapsible screen technology are part of a rawer testing process for other technologies.
Samsung was the first to implement the folding phone technology after the announcement of the Galaxy phone two months ago.
