The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Saturday, the registration of a death, 66 new infections with the Corona virus, and 134 cases of recovery from the virus, during the last 24 hours.
She added that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 98.4%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.4%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: “Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2, Jenin 8, Tulkarm 1, Bethlehem 1, Hebron 1, Salfit 1, Gaza Strip 120.”
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 9 patients in intensive care rooms, while 16 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 565,660, including 400,561 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
