Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced the registration of a death, 139 new cases of corona and 62 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
She explained that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine was 98.6%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.3%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Nablus 12, Jenin 5, Jerusalem suburbs 2, Tulkarm 2, Hebron 4, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Gaza Strip 113.”
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Jenin 2, Hebron 1, Gaza Strip 59,” and a death was recorded as a result of complications from infection with the virus in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 9 patients in intensive care rooms, while 12 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including one patient on a respirator.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 578,364, of whom 409,862 received the two doses of the vaccine.
