Corruption threatens the Netanyahu government ... the arrest of government officials in a new case

 Israeli police arrested, on Monday morning, at least 7 government officials, against the backdrop of a major corruption case investigating the 433 Lahf Unit.

According to the Yedioth Ahronoth website, among the detainees are two senior aides to ministers in the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, whose corruption is gnawing in all of its departments.

According to the site, it is talked about those officials receiving bribes and other benefits in exchange for awarding bids and tenders for a number of companies and entities, as well as for scientific colleges.

The investigation was opened on the basis of fraud, breach of trust and irregularities under the Income Tax Ordinance, Money Laundering and other crimes.

The investigation is being conducted by the Israeli police and the tax authority, with the assistance of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority, and the follow-up to the Prosecutor´s Office in the Jerusalem area and the northern civilian area.
