The British Foreign Office confirmed on Thursday that its position on Israeli settlements has not changed.
"The UK´s position on the settlements is clear. It is illegal under international law," a Foreign Office spokesman said in a statement today. "It is an obstacle to peace and threatens the viability of a two-state solution. We urge Israel to stop its counterproductive settlement expansion," he stressed.
