America extends travel ban to Europe to include Britain and Ireland

The White House announced on Saturday that the United States will extend the travel ban to Europe because of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) to include Britain and Ireland, and this will apply from midnight on Monday, Eastern Time.

Mike Pence, US Vice President, said in a statement to the White House that all flights from Britain and Ireland will be suspended by midnight Monday, adding that US citizens and those with legal residency can return to the United States through specific airports.

And the travel ban imposed by Washington on 26 European countries because of "Covid-19" has been in effect since midnight on Friday.
