A young man was wounded with a rubber-coated metal bullet in the head and dozens suffocated during the occupation army´s suppression of the weekly anti-settlement march of Kafr Qaddoum, which was launched to condemn the continued violations of the occupation army against our people in all governorates of the country.
The media spokesman in Qalqilya region, Murad Shteiwi, said that the occupation soldiers fired metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the marchers, injuring a young man in the head slightly, and dozens of people were treated for suffocation.
Shteiwi confirmed the outbreak of violent confrontations between the occupation soldiers and the young men who confronted them with stones and ignited the tires, pointing out that the occupation soldiers stormed a number of citizens´ homes and climbed their roofs with the aim of using them for snipers.
Shteiwi added that the occupation soldiers had set up an ambush at night in one of the abandoned houses, but it was discovered by the Monitoring Unit and the ambushes were discovered without making any arrests.
The march began after Friday prayers at Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, with the participation of hundreds of townspeople, who confirmed their continuation of the popular resistance approach, stressing the importance of spreading it in all governorates of the country.
