89 settlers and Israeli soldiers storm Al-Aqsa

JERUSALEM _ Palestine News Network

On Sunday morning, 87 Jewish settlers stormed the al-Aqsa mosque courtyards after they were fully protected by the Israeli occupation police.

The information officer of the Islamic Waqf department, Firas al-Debs, said 87 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque during the morning raids from Bab al-Mughrabi, in the form of successive groups.

He added that two Israeli intelligence agents stormed the mosque during the same period and carried out exploratory tours of the site.

He explained that the security of the incursions was carried out through the deployment of members of the heavily armed Israeli special forces in the courtyards of the mosque, along with the escort of a number of them to the detainees until they left the "Bab al-Series".

The number of intruders will rise during the day due to the Israeli police allowing settlers a second break-in after the noon prayer.

The current week will see a rise in the number of intruders in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, due to the calls of the "temple" organizations, whose supporters allegedly stormed the mosque collectively to celebrate the Jewish "throne".

On the other hand, activists across the social media called on all Muslims in the Palestinian territories to deal with these incursions and to permanently tighten the Al-Aqsa mosque, especially during the morning, which is witnessing major incursions by the Israeli police.
