Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Health announced 976 new cases of Coronavirus, in addition to 7 deaths.
The Health Ministry said in a statement that 112 new injuries were recorded in Jerusalem during the last three days, in addition to 458 injuries in the West Bank governorates, and 406 injuries in the Gaza Strip, after examining 4,476 samples.
Health also recorded 585 new cases of recovery, including 30 in Jerusalem, 262 in the West Bank, and 293 in Gaza.
With regard to the deaths, the ministry indicated that 5 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (a 72-year-old citizen from Kafr Ra´i in Jenin governorate, a 64-year-old citizen from Beit Dajan in Nablus governorate, an 80-year-old citizen from the city of Ram al-Alla, a 46-year-old citizen from Artah in Tulkarm. A citizen of 83 years from Beit Ummar), in addition to the death of two civilians, 69 years and 78 years, from the Gaza Strip.
Thus, the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 87.5%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.6%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
As for recovery cases, 129 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 49, Jenin 39, Nablus 35, Tulkarm 22, Qalqilya 18, Salfit 9, Tubas 12, the suburbs of Jerusalem 78), Gaza Strip 293, Jerusalem 30.
The Ministry of Health added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (54), Nablus Governorate (144), Bethlehem Governorate (26), Qalqilya Governorate (27), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (78), Jenin (45), Jericho and Al-Aghwar ( 18), Salfit (8), Tulkarm (37), Tubas (8), the Gaza Strip (406), the suburbs of Jerusalem (13), the city of Jerusalem (112).
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 39 patients in intensive care rooms, including 10 patients on artificial respirators.
