Israeli Army Radio revealed on Wednesday that the "Gush Etzion" settlement council had been supporting outposts with exorbitant sums of money illegally.
According to the radio, the Council has around 600,000 shekels in 2017 as part of an illegal activity in its West Bank areas. This activity ensures the construction of buildings and the reinforcement of infrastructure in a number of outposts in the south of the West Bank.
The Council responded to those reports by stating that it was acting in accordance with the law and the powers conferred on it, in coordination with a close legal adviser, and that they were proud to develop the Gush Etzion settlements and outposts.
