The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Sunday, that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 98.4%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.4%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The ministry recorded 15 new infections in the West Bank and 43 in the Gaza Strip, after examining 4,050 samples, and said that it had recorded 12 new cases of recovery in the West Bank, and 11 in Gaza.
The new infections were distributed as (Tulkarem 7, Salfit 2, Bethlehem 2, Jenin 1, Nablus 1, Ramallah Al-Bireh 1, Hebron 1, Gaza Strip 34).
She said that patients in intensive care in the West Bank are 11, out of 18 who are being treated in hospitals and Corona centers.
The total number of vaccinated citizens in the West Bank reached 471,138, and in the Gaza Strip 97,151, i.e. a total number of 568,289, including 401,052 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
