Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 5 deaths, 1,391 new cases of Coronavirus and 1038 recoveries had been recorded during the past 24 hours.
Al-Kailah said in the daily epidemiological report in Palestine that the deaths were recorded in the governorates: Hebron (1), Salfit (1), Tulkarm (1), Nablus (1), and the Gaza Strip (1).
It added that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Qalqilya (68), Bethlehem (189), Tulkarm (86), the suburbs of Jerusalem (92), Salfit (62), Nablus (147), Hebron (262), Tubas (21). Ramallah and Al-Bireh (314), Jenin (50), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (16), Gaza Strip (84), indicating that 8,271 tests were performed.
Al-Kaila explained that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Qalqilya (12), Bethlehem (83), Tulkarm (26), the suburbs of Jerusalem (124), Salfit (76), Nablus (62), Hebron (140), Tubas (5). ), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (236), Jenin (55), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (17), Gaza Strip (202).
She stated that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 92.1%, while the rate of active infections reached 6.8%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Al-Kailah pointed out that 93 injured people were in the intensive care rooms, 23 of them were on artificial respirators.
