Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 21 new deaths have been recorded from the Coronavirus, which brings the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,364 deaths.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that 1812 new cases of the virus were recorded, which raises the total number of infections in Palestine to 145,422 cases, adding that 1,783 recoveries were recorded, which brings the number of recovered cases in Palestine to 119938.
It stated that new deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: Hebron (2), Jenin (2), Qalqilya (1), Nablus (2), Bethlehem (3), Gaza Strip (7), and Jerusalem (4).
It indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Salfit (47), Hebron (142), Jericho (14), Tulkarm (95), Tubas (28), Jenin (127), Qalqilya (26), Nablus (85), Bethlehem (55), Ramallah (159), the suburbs of Jerusalem (12), the Gaza Strip (728), and the city of Jerusalem (294), noting that 6,134 examinations were performed.
Al-Kailah indicated that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Salfit (27), Hebron (221), Jericho (6), Tulkarm (92), Tubas (23), Jenin (225), Qalqilya (49), Nablus (82) Bethlehem (83), Ramallah (177), Gaza Strip (500), Jerusalem (298).
And she added that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 82.7%, while the rate of active infections reached 16.4%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
The Minister of Health indicated that 118 patients are in the intensive care rooms, including 26 on artificial respirators.
