Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 21 deaths, 815 new injuries and 1,979 new recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
She said that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 93.8%, while the rate of active infections reached 5.1%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of all infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tulkarm 29, Hebron 35, Nablus 51, Jenin 26, Tubas 3, Bethlehem 10, Qalqilya 4, the suburbs of Jerusalem 3, Salfit 3, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 38, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1” 612 Gaza Strip.
Al-Kailah added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tulkarm 23, Hebron 87, Nablus 317, Jenin 115, Tubas 16, Bethlehem 6, Qalqilya 11, Jerusalem suburbs 2, Salfit 7, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 48, Jericho and Al Aghwar 17. Gaza Strip 1330.
And 15 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Tulkarm 4, Hebron 3, Nablus 4, Jenin 1, Bethlehem 2, Qalqilya 1”, and 6 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 136 patients in intensive care rooms, including 40 patients on artificial respirators, while 332 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
As for the citizens who received the anti-corona virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 261,322, including 192,201 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
