20,300 citizens were displaced to UNRWA schools in the Gaza Strip

Media advisor to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Adnan Abu Hasna, said, “20,300 Palestinians have been displaced to UNRWA schools in the Gaza Strip since yesterday.”

Abu Hasna added, in a call with the official Wafa news agency, on Sunday, that 44 UNRWA schools, including 28 schools equipped for shelter, received displaced people from various governorates of the Gaza Strip, with the exception of Khan Yunis.

He pointed out that the numbers of displaced people were concentrated in the northern Gaza Strip, the eastern border and the south of the Strip, expecting their numbers to increase in the coming hours.
