The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Friday, the registration of 3 deaths, 165 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 453 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the new deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: Nablus (1), Gaza Strip (2).
Al-Kaila stated that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jenin (6), Hebron (1), Tulkarm (3), Nablus (25), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (3), Salfit (1), Tubas (4), and the Gaza Strip ( 410).
She explained that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 97.8%, while the percentage of active infections was 1.1%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 9 patients in intensive care rooms, including one patient on artificial respirators, while 15 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
With regard to the citizens who received antiviral vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 445,412, of whom 270,604 received both doses of the vaccine.
