Two young men were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens suffocated, today, Friday, as a result of the Israeli occupation army´s suppression of the weekly Kafr Qaddum march against settlements.
Mourad Shteiwi, the media spokesperson for Fatah movement, Qalqilya region, stated that the occupation soldiers stormed the village after the start of the march and fired rubber-coated metal bullets at the youths.
Shteiwi explained that the occupation soldiers on the roofs of citizens´ houses and used them as military barracks for their snipers, while they set up ambushes in abandoned houses to arrest young men, without making any arrests.
The march began after Friday prayers, with the participation of hundreds of villagers who chanted national slogans condemning the racist policies of the occupation and its repeated attacks on our people, especially in occupied Jerusalem.
