The Director of UNRWA Operations in Gaza , Matthias Shamali, said today, Wednesday, that "UNRWA will work in the coming days to secure safe passage for the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip."
"During the past eight days, we were not allowed to bring in any aid to the Strip," Shamali said in a press conference.
The UNRWA had confirmed earlier that "Israel refuses to enter humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing."
