Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 18 deaths, 1,748 new cases of "Corona" virus, and 2536 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily epidemiological report in Palestine, Al-Kailah said that the deaths were recorded in the following governorates: Hebron (4), Bethlehem (2), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (1), Tulkarm (1), and the Gaza Strip (10). According to what was quoted by the official news agency "Wafa".
She added that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Tubas (22), Jenin (83), Tulkarm (40), Nablus (144), Qalqilya (18), Salfit (8), Hebron (48), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (85). , Bethlehem (25), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (5), the suburbs of Jerusalem (2), the Gaza Strip (1268), and 6889 tests were confirmed.
Al-Kailah explained that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tubas (459, Jenin (149), Tulkarm (13), Nablus (190), Qalqilya (27), Salfit (3), Hebron (204), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (88) , Bethlehem (87), Jericho and Al Aghwar (3), the suburbs of Jerusalem (2), Gaza Strip (1725).
She stated that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 89.8%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.1%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 164 injured people in intensive care rooms, of whom 43 are connected to artificial respirators, while 474 injured are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
With regard to the citizens who received the anti-corona virus vaccinations, Al-Kailah confirmed that their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 167549, of whom 34,730 received the two doses of the vaccine.
