13 detainees in the West Bank, including a child

 the Israeli army carried out early Monday, a campaign of arrests of 13 Palestinians from Jerusalem and the West Bank, including a child from the village of Beit Rima northwest of Ramallah.

According to local sources in Beit Rima, Israeli soldiers arrested a child during clashes in the village, which followed the storming of the house of Ezzat Rimawi and the destruction of his children´s homes and demanding the extradition of one of the sons who was not in the house.

The arrests were concentrated in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, where local sources reported that at least five Palestinians were arrested: Mousa Yasser Al-Najjar, Noman Saleh Juma Hamed, Mohammed Lotfi Juma Hamed, Sheikh Khalil Hassan Hamed and Mohammed Yasser Juma Hamed.

The arrests in Ramallah also included Mahmoud Mohammed al-Sharti from the village of Al-Mazra´a Al-Sharqiya.

In the town of Issawiya, northeast of Jerusalem, the sources said that the Israeli police arrested Amin Hamed and Mohammed Ayman Obeid.

Last night, Israeli soldiers arrested Malek Shtayyeh from Tal village, west of Nablus, and Imad Niroukh from Hebron, as well as Laith Yousef Abdel Hadi Asafra and Mohammed Jihad Asafra, both from Beit Kahel, west of Hebron.

He appealed to the father of the prisoner Malik Ashtiyeh, the institutions and authorities concerned to follow up the arrest of his son, especially since he was discharged from the hospital hours before his arrest, after suffering a heart attack.
