The death of the prisoner Bassam Sayeh in the prisons of the occupation

Palestinian prisoner Bassam al-Sayeh from the West Bank city ​​of Nablus was killed on Sunday evening after a bitter struggle with cancer.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested the captive Bassam Sayeh (47 years) in 2015, who has been suffering from bone cancer since 2011, and blood cancer since 2013.

 The Israeli Prison Service confirmed the death of the prisoner Bassam al-Sayeh in the Assaf Harofeh hospital, where Israel accuses him of carrying out a shooting attack that killed Israelis near Itamar settlement.
It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian prisoner Bassam Al-Sayeh and his native town Nablus holds a master´s degree in journalism and political science. He was born on 31/8/1973.
Bassam al-Sayeh, brother of a prisoner in the Israeli occupation prisons (Mohammed Amjad), has been detained since 13/8/2002, detained in Gilboa Prison, holds a master´s degree in civil engineering, and is serving a 20-year sentence
Around 700 prisoners are suffering from difficult health conditions, of which about 160 are in need of urgent medical follow-up. Part of the sick prisoners, the majority of them with high judgments, have been closed due to lack of treatment.
