On Monday afternoon, a young man was slightly injured when he was shot by the Israeli occupation forces near the settlement of Kiryat Arba on the territory of the city of Hebron, allegedly trying to carry out a stabbing attack.
Israeli army spokesman Aftiai Adherding said the army foiled an attempt to carry out an appeal at the Elias Junction near the city of Hebron after it spotted a young man trying to stab settlers and an officer.
He added: The soldier shot at the young man, injuring him and then transporting him to receive medical treatment.
"There were no casualties among the army forces," he said.
