According to official Palestinian figures, during October the Israeli occupation authorities carried out more than 90 violations of Islamic shrines in the Palestinian territories.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs said in a statement on Monday that the dangerous escalation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem comes within the framework of plans and policies put in place by the Israeli Government and its various arms to Judaize al-Aqsa.

The Waqf explained that the occupation devotes its various efforts to make the Al-Aqsa Division a "fait accompli", pending the spatial division of the mosque, in an effort to change the historical reality in it and seize the maximum of houses, lanes and alleys.

The Palestinian ministry monitored the Al-Aqsa mosque for more than 30 violations and incursions, and over 50 times the occupation prevented the azan from being lifted at the Ibrahimi Mosque.

A group of settlers raided the old village of Shishhalleh near the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, and photographed a number of houses, one of the mosques, in preparation for the construction of a bypass road up the Main Street (Jerusalem-Hebron), down to the mountain summit.
