Google´s chief executive, Sundar Bechai, told a US congressional hearing why Google introduced the image of President Donald Trump in search of an idiot.
According to the newspaper The Verge, Democratic Congressman Zoe Lovgren drew attention to misunderstanding and asked Bechai.
The search engine gives search results based on more than 200 criteria, including importance, popularity and news, and automatically "sorted" them.
Bechai also denied charges against the company about political bias, and that its employees run the search results manually.
The US president said earlier that the results of the Trump News show only "false media reports".
Google has also denied the charge, pointing out that the search engine is not used to form trends and political trends never.
