When does the anti-Corona vaccine arrive in Palestine?

The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, said today, Saturday, that the date for the arrival of the anti-Coronavirus vaccine to Palestine is still not specified until now.

The official agency quoted Al-Kailah that the vaccine is likely to arrive during the first quarter of this year, after the ministry contracted with 4 companies producing the vaccine, as these vaccines will cover a total of 70% of Palestinian citizens, in addition to the World Health Organization will provide the ministry with 20% .

She pointed out that there is a decrease in the rate of virus infections, stressing the need to continue preventive measures until the epidemiological trend is flattened.

Al-Keela confirmed that a recommendation will be submitted to the Council of Ministers in the coming days regarding whether or not to extend the state of closure, depending on the epidemiological situation in the country.

Meanwhile, the ministry’s spokesman, Kamal Al-Shakra, told the state radio that vaccines from the British company, AstraZeneca, will arrive in the second half of next month, and added that other vaccines will arrive next month through the international "Kovacs" organization working to provide vaccines.

On the other hand, Al-Keela confirmed that the Ministry of Health will submit a recommendation to the Council of Ministers in the coming days regarding whether to extend the state of closure or not, depending on the epidemiological situation.
