Washington will provide Ukraine with “significant” air defense capabilities (White House)

The White House announced Thursday that the United States will provide Ukraine with “significant” air defense capabilities, but Joe Biden does not want, at the current stage, to provide Kiev with the long-range “Atakum” missiles that President Volodymyr Zelensky is demanding, who is in Washington.

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said in a press conference that the US President "decided that he would not supply (Kiev) Atakmus missiles, but he did not rule out this possibility in the future."
