RAMALLAH _ Palestine News Network

The United States is threatening banks to stop accepting any financial transfers to the Palestinian Authority because of its rejection of the "Deal of the Century", the Fatah movement said on Monday.

"The United States and Israel are tightening their attack on Palestine, by tightening the financial blockade, because of our rejection of projects aimed at settling the Palestinian cause," said the director of the Media Bureau of the movement Munir al-Jaragoub.

"America threatens the banks to refrain from accepting any financial transfers to the PNA, and Israel is preparing to confiscate the Palestinian tax funds it collects according to the Paris economic agreement," he said.

Al-Jaghoub insisted that the rejection of the deal should not be undone, "knowing the magnitude of the difficulties that await us."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Tuesday to pass the bill to deduct prisoners ´ and martyrs ´ salaries from the Palestinian Authority´s "Israel " set-off funds for the next week.
