A study in the United States warned that lizards coming from South America may begin to spread in the south of the country.
According to the BBC survey, the 1.2-meter-long lizards were settled in Florida after they came to the United States as pets.
She said the lizards are currently living in two major settlements in Florida, which may spread over an area stretching from North Carolina and South Carolina to Central Texas.
