Citizens on Saturday condemned the death of two Palestinians who were killed yesterday by Israeli occupation on the eastern border in the Gaza Strip.
Nidal Abdel-Karim Shatat, 29, and Jihad Mounir Harrah, 22, were killed in the Gaza Strip on Friday.
The funeral procession of Martyr Shatat, from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs´ Hospital, went to his family´s home in Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip to look farewell to him before he prayed and was buried in the cemetery.
While the funeral procession of Martyr Harrah, with the participation of armed elements from Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad to which the martyrs belong, from Shifa Hospital to his family´s house in Al-Shuja´ia neighborhood, to bid farewell, before he prayed and buried in the Martyrs´ Cemetery.
Hundreds of citizens participated in the two ceremonies, raising the Palestinian flag and banners of the various factions. They chanted slogans calling on the resistance to protect unarmed civilian demonstrators and to respond to the continued targeting by the Israeli occupation in cold blood.
