Today, Sunday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced the registration of two deaths, 53 new injuries, and 221 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
She added that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 98.4%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.5%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tulkarem 2, Jenin 2, Bethlehem 1, Hebron 2, Nablus 1, Gaza Strip 45.”
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Jenin 3, Hebron 1, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 1, Qalqilya 2, Gaza Strip 214.”
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 5 patients in intensive care rooms, while 13 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 541,673, including 389,189 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
