The Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, two deaths, 521 new cases of Coronavirus, and a recovery of 445 in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza.
The ministry said that in the last 24 hours it had examined 4,002 samples.
It indicated that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 88.4%, active infections 10.7%, and the death rate 0.9% of all infections.
It indicated that the death of a 74-year-old citizen from Burqa in Nablus, and the death of an 85-year-old citizen from Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip, was recorded.
In terms of recovery cases, 226 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 44, Tulkarm 22, Salfit 12, Jenin 29, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 91, Qalqilya 25, Tubas 3, Jerusalem 32), in addition to 187 cases of recovery in the Gaza Strip.
She added that the new injuries were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (18), Nablus Governorate (95), Bethlehem Governorate (32), Qalqilya Governorate (2), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (46), Jenin (14), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (4) ), Salfit (19), Tulkarm (12), Gaza Strip (198), the suburbs of Jerusalem (5), and the city of Jerusalem (76).
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 39 patients in intensive care rooms, including 9 patients on artificial respirators.
