The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Friday, the registration of two deaths, 135 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 60 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the two deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: Jenin (1) and the Gaza Strip (1).
She said that the new infections were recorded as follows: Tulkarm (5), Jenin (6), Nablus (7), Bethlehem (4), Salfit (1), Qalqilya (1), Hebron (5), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (2) ), the Gaza Strip (104), noting that the number of those conducted reached 4102.
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Tulkarm (1), Jenin (2), Nablus (8), Bethlehem (2), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (1), and the Gaza Strip (46), noting that the rate of recovery from The virus in Palestine reached 98.5%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.4%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 9 injured in intensive care rooms, while 13 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including one on a respirator.
With regard to the citizens who received antiviral vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 591,526, of whom 415,881 received both doses of the vaccine.
