Two deaths and 124 new cases of Coronavirus in Jerusalem

Dr. Ali Al-Jabrini, a member of the Corona Anti-Coronavirus Jerusalem unit, said this evening, Thursday, that the city of Jerusalem witnessed two new deaths from the Corona virus in the Mount of Olives and Shuafat camp, bringing the number of deaths to 23 since the beginning of the virus’s spread.

Al-Jabrini said in a press statement, “Today, 124 new cases of the virus and 122 cases of recovery were recorded within two days, bringing the number of active infections to 1892.

Doctor Al-Maqdisi Al-Jabrini pointed out that the majority of infections were monitored in social events that take place without observing the instructions of the Ministry of Health, stressing the need to coexist with the virus in preventive ways, wishing citizens to ensure public safety and health.

Al-Jabrini appealed to the Jerusalemites to adhere to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health in terms of social distancing, wearing masks, sterilization, and personal hygiene, pointing to the importance of conducting checks to stop the chain of spread of the virus before winter and the return of schools.
