Trump says anonymous intelligence leaks triggered "false alarm"

US President Donald Trump says an unidentified man who leaked intelligence has raised "false alarms" about the president´s dealings with a foreign leader.

Trump said he would not object to his attorney Rudy Giuliani testifying before the US Congress.

Trump told reporters on Sunday he had "no problem" with Giuliani speaking to congressional committees investigating charges that the president and his lawyer had pressured Ukraine´s new president, Volodymyr Zelinsky, to reopen an investigation into a family-related company. Joe Biden, former US vice president.

In a telephone conversation last July with Zelinsky, Trump asked Ukraine to investigate Biden´s son Hunter, according to an informed source.

Trump told reporters as he left the White House on Sunday that this was a "perfect communication" and that he "did not say anything wrong at all."
