Thousands of citizens on Saturday mourned the body of Mohammed Fawzi Adawi, 36, to his final resting place in Balata refugee camp in a funeral procession, which began in front of Rafidia Governmental Hospital.
On Friday, the Israeli authorities handed over the body of the martyr Adawi, who has been in custody since his death on January 21, 2019, after he was shot by the Israeli occupation forces at Huwwara military checkpoint for allegedly stabbing.
The funeral of the martyr started from Rafidia Hospital with the participation of representatives of the official and popular forces and events, and reached the home of his family, which took him a farewell look, before he buried in the cemetery of martyrs in the camp.
