A German medical delegation specializing in hand and wrist orthopedic surgery concluded thursday, in partnership with the medical staff of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the European Hospital gaza, to perform 20 surgeries described as qualitative and complex.
Dr. Jamal Abu Hilal, consultant orthopaedic surgeon at The European Gaza Hospital, said that the medical delegation arrived earlier this week at the European Gaza Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip, led by Dr. Frank Ninschtit, on his first visit to help children with birth defects and hand injuries.
Abu Hilal expressed his happiness to cooperate with the delegation in assisting patients and conducting operations jointly, which also allows for the exchange of experiences with local medical teams.
