The Palestinian Health Ministry announced, Thursday, 16 new deaths, and 1051 new cases of Corona virus.
According to the health statement, 328 injuries were recorded in the West Bank, and 723 in the Gaza Strip.
It said that new recoveries amounted to 1844, including in the West Bank 440 and in Gaza 1404.
The deaths were distributed by 10 in the West Bank (Tubas 2, Tulkarm 2, Nablus 3, and Hebron 3), and 6 cases in the Gaza Strip.
According to the statement, 147 patients in intensive care, and 41 out of a total of 370 patients on artificial respirators, are being treated in hospitals and Corona centers.
The rate of recovery from Coronavirus in Palestine reached 92.4%, while the rate of active infections was 6.5%, and the death rate was 1.1%.
The Minister of Health, Mai al-Kaila, said that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Tubas 14, Tulkarm 43, Jenin 55, Nablus 89, Qalqilya 10, Hebron 51, Salfit 9, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 41, the suburbs of Jerusalem 2, Bethlehem 10, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 4 723 Gaza Strip.
As for the citizens who received anti-virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 255,662, of whom 179,673 received the two doses of the vaccine.
