The mass strike paralysed all the institutions and facilities of the Agency for the relief and works of Palestine refugees/"UNRWA " in the Gaza Strip.
This came after the UNRWA staff Union announced a nationwide strike in all the schools and institutions of the UN organization today and tomorrow.
The strike was decided at all UNRWA facilities to protest its policies, curtail its services and deny staff rights.
Yesterday, UNRWA postponed 10 of its foreign staff on the pretext of fear for their lives under the protest steps of staff members dismissed from their posts as part of UNRWA cutbacks.
