Bill Shine, the White House media director and former Fox News executive, has resigned, the White House said Friday.
"Bill Shane handed over his resignation to President (Donald Trump) Thursday evening," said Sarah Sanders, a presidential spokeswoman. "Bill continues to support President Trump and his program and will be an adviser in the 2020 campaign to re-elect Trump.
