Residents of the village of Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, confronted, this evening, Thursday, dozens of settlers who launched an attack on the village, and tried to attack the citizens and their property.
Local sources said: The settlers came from the settlement of "Itzhar" established on the lands of the village and the neighboring villages, and attacked the citizens´ homes located at the southern and eastern outskirts of the village and threw stones at them. Residents turned to clash with the occupation soldiers who fired live and rubber bullets and tear gas canisters between the houses, which resulted in dozens of suffocation cases.
It is noteworthy that dozens of settlers had launched a similar attack last night on the villages of Asira al-Qibliya and Urif, and attacked the homes and property of the people, and burned a mechanical digger (Bagger) in one of Asira al-Qibliyah quarries.
